Insurance

If you have dental insurance, we work with most of the dental insurance companies and often are able to accept benefit assignment.  If you plan to use your dental insurance, our office will assist you in obtaining insurance benefits to help with your dental treatment.  We participate in most Preferred Provider Organizations, (P.P.O.’s) and indemnity type insurance.  As a courtesy to our patients we typically accept insurance assignments, which mean that we will file your insurance claims for you.  To allow us to extend this courtesy, please remember the following:

• We always confirm your eligibility and available benefits before treatment, and give you a price estimate before treatment.

• Insurance seldom covers the total cost of dental treatment, and might not pay a benefit for some dental procedures.

• Your insurance benefits are sometimes affected by employer limitations.

• All treatment costs are estimates that depend on how your claim is processed by your insurance carrier. Some claims will result in a balance due or a credit that can be adjusted after the claim process is completed.

Remember, however, that you, as the patient, are always responsible for the part of the treatment that the insurance does not pay.
